Residing in Pineville, LA, alongside my husband, Charles, I hold my faith, family, and country dear. We have three grown children. The eldest son and his wife, both West Point graduates, are stationed at Ft. Liberty. The younger son balances his pharmacy studies with serving as a Russian linguist in Military Intelligence. Our daughter, who was recently married, serves as the Chief Operating Officer for a state-run facility dedicated to supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
I have worn many hats throughout life, including junior high E.S.L. teacher, case manager, and RN, with a specialty in clinical documentation and legal nurse consulting. With a 16-year educational journey, I am currently focusing on my role as an Oncology Research Nurse. My work has taken me across the country, including traveling contracts in Montana and Alaska, before returning home.
My interests are as varied as my career, spanning writing, walking, beekeeping, and blogging. Growing up on Indian Reservations in the Northwest fostered a deep appreciation for indigenous cultures, complemented by my engagement with the Latino community and proficiency in Spanish.
Passionate about continuous learning, I now am mastering the guitar and expanding my digital media skills, with an emphasis on storytelling.
